On May 10, 2025, Southwest Border AHEC will participate in a community-focused event in hosted by Camino REAL in Eagle Pass, Texas, as part of the statewide Healthy Texan Week initiative from May 5 to 11, 2025. This event aims to promote nutrition education and healthy lifestyle choices among local residents, particularly mothers and families. The program will feature interactive workshops on topics such as meal planning, understanding food labels, and incorporating nutritious foods into daily routines.
