Salud En Mis Manos/ Health in My Hands is a grant-funded program that focuses on educating women on the importance of breast and cervical cancer screenings. Through this program, eligible women can receive free to low-cost pap smears, mammograms, and HPV vaccines. South Coastal AHEC has a team of dedicated CHWs who promote this program. They do this by attending various events in Nueces and surrounding counties. South Coastal AHEC has developed a close partnership with South Texas Family Planning.
