Kleberg Prenatal Health Project, Community Health Clubs
Overall goal for the project is to identify the factors that increase the risk of maternal mortality or morbidity for Hispanic/Latina women in South Texas. Two focus groups were conducted to identify these barriers and provided information necessary to create and administer a Maternal Health Club using the a “Prenatal Healthcare Model.”
