The 2026 CHWs Across the Life Span Summit, which is officially hosted by the American Public Health Association Community Health Worker Section in collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, McKesson Institute of Community & Health, Texas AHEC East Piney Woods Region, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and South Central AHEC. Our event will be held on Saturday, October 31st, at the Family Service Neighborhood Place in San Antonio, Texas, from 8:30am – 2:00pm. Our Keynote Speaker is Dr. Eduardo Sanchez, Chief Medical Officer for Prevention of the American Heart Association. We will also have a panel of CHW speakers sharing programming related to individuals across the lifespan. More details to come, including presentation titles and continuing education hours.
