A presentation from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) "Texas Ready, Emergency Response Preparedness" will be hosted on January 17th from 10:00am to 11:30am at the St. Peter Lutheran Church. Members of the Emergency Preparedness & Response Team will provide an overview of the program, recommendations and answer audience questions. DSHS-Pearsall will be distributing Texas Ready backpacks with emergency kit items, emergency blankets, and Texas Ready plans while supplies last. Pearsall Independent School District will be providing snacks. DSHS will be traveling to other counties (Dimmit, Zavala, La Salle) with the same presentation.
